About Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home
Bekavac Funeral Home traces its roots to 1927, when Tony Bekavac began working at the Clairton funeral home he eventually owned. The business remains family-run into its third generation, now under Daniel Bekavac, after Tony's widow Patty and son Paul carried the operation through the following decades.
The Elizabeth location is part of a Bekavac network that also includes Clairton and Versailles, giving families in the Mon Valley and south suburbs of Pittsburgh access to a staff of six licensed funeral directors and more than thirty additional team members. The main Clairton facility can accommodate four services simultaneously and includes an 85-seat chapel.
Services include traditional burial and cremation, with a selection of urns ranging from bronze to carved hardwood, along with memorial tribute and printed material options. Families throughout Elizabeth, Allegheny County, and surrounding towns such as Bethel Park, Belle Vernon, and Braddock have relied on the Bekavac family's funeral practice for nearly a century.
