About Pate Funeral Home
Pate Funeral Home was established in 1928 as Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory and is currently owned and operated by funeral director Steven Pate, who resides on-site with his family. The 10,000-square-foot facility was constructed in the mid-1990s and features a chapel, parlor, family lounge, event space, and an on-site crematorium.
The funeral home serves families throughout Benton and Southern Illinois with traditional burial services, cremation, pre-arrangement planning, and video streaming for services. Pate Funeral Home has received the Illinois Award of Funeral Home Distinction from the Illinois Funeral Directors Association.
