Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home — Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home was established in 1923 when E.P. Chilton and Fred Parrott formed Chilton-Parrott Co. The business became Parrott & Ramsey after John Ramsey joined as a financial partner. The funeral home moved to its current location on Lebanon Avenue in Campbellsville in 1944 after purchasing the Kerr home at auction for $5,000.

Fred and Bessie Parrott sold the business to their son Bob and his wife Joyce in 1965. Following Bob's death in 1971, the funeral home was sold to Dale and Carol Ann Lowe, who later sold it to Terry and Judy Dabney in 1981. The Dabneys continue to operate the funeral home today.

The facility includes a chapel built in 1975 that seats 420 people. The funeral home has undergone numerous renovations over the decades to accommodate changing service needs while maintaining its presence in Taylor County for nearly a century.
