Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre has been serving Jefferson, Switzerland, and Trimble counties for 29 years under the leadership of President Rodney Nay, a licensed funeral director with 39 years in the profession and a 1986 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service. Rodney Nay was named Funeral Director of the Year in 2014 by American Funeral Director Magazine and previously served 35 years with Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay before his work with Morgan & Nay.

The funeral home operates two chapels, one in Madison and one in Hanover, with staff members who have hometown roots throughout the region. Morgan & Nay has received 18 national recognitions from the National Funeral Directors Association, including the 2025 Best of Best distinction for its AfterCare Events Program, which offers grief support through social activities, holiday luncheons, day trips to theater productions, historic sites, and sporting events designed to help widows and widowers adjust to new routines. In 2024, the funeral home received the NFDA Richard Myers Pinnacle Award for its Suicide Awareness and Prevention Initiative.
