Morehart Mortuary — Funeral Home in Albany, TX

Micah and Jaclyn Morehart purchased Morehart Mortuary in 2012 from Micah's parents, continuing a family tradition in the funeral industry. Micah is a licensed funeral director who graduated from Amarillo College with an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science in 2009 and has worked professionally in the funeral industry since 2003, including experience at both family-owned and corporate funeral homes in Lubbock and Austin. Jaclyn holds degrees in Marketing and General Business from Texas Tech University and has been involved in the funeral industry since 2004.

The funeral home serves families in Albany, Breckenridge, and surrounding Shackelford County communities. Both Micah and Jaclyn are active members of First United Methodist Church, the Breckenridge Noon Lions Club, and Jaclyn serves as vice president of the Woman's Forum. Jack and Carrol Morehart continue their involvement with the funeral home as funeral directors.
