MKD Funeral Directors was established in 1937 and has been family owned and operated for over 85 years. The business is now in its fourth generation, with current owners John F. John Kuiper III is a third-generation funeral director who graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science and began working in the family business in 1986. He now works alongside his son Matthew, the fourth-generation funeral director. Jeff Matthysse, a second-generation funeral director, also graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2000.
