Matthew J. Gjurich purchased Miller Funeral Home in 2020, bringing over 23 years of experience as a licensed funeral director and certified crematory operator. A graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Gjurich served his internship at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington, Virginia, where he became a lifelong member of the Arlington Centennial Glebe Masonic Lodge #81, and later worked in the funeral service field in the Johnstown area before acquiring the Somerset location.

The funeral home features an on-site crematory and serves families throughout Somerset County and surrounding communities including Berlin, Boswell, Confluence, and Davidsville. Gjurich personally oversees funeral planning and crematory operations for families in the Somerset area.
