About Miguez Funeral Home
Miguez Funeral Home was founded by Adam Miguez in 1935 and has served Jeff Davis Parish for nearly 90 years. Zeb Johnson now leads the funeral home, which is part of the Johnson Funeral Home family of locations.
The funeral home has undergone extensive renovations and expansion to accommodate growing community needs. The facility includes a modern chapel, a large hospitality suite capable of serving multiple families simultaneously, additional staterooms, and video and audio capabilities throughout the building. In addition to the Jennings location, Miguez operates a facility in Lake Arthur and serves families in Roanoke, Evangeline, Mermentau, Iota, Welsh, Gueydan, and Egan.
The funeral home provides specialized veterans services for military families and offers pet memorial services through their Pet Angel program. Staff members assist with pre-planning arrangements and honor all insurance policies and pre-arranged services.
