About Michels and Lundquist Funeral Home
Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home has served New Port Richey and the West Pasco area for more than 40 years. The funeral home was established when Michels relocated from Duval Funeral Home in Tampa to manage the New Port Richey location in 1964, where Lundquist had been working since 1959.
Michels began his funeral service career at age 15 in Michigan and became a Licensed Funeral Director by age 22 after moving to Florida. Lundquist was inspired to enter funeral service by his uncle, who was also a funeral director. The funeral home serves families throughout Pasco County, including Port Richey, Hudson, Holiday, and Tarpon Springs.
