Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary — Funeral Home in St. George, UT

Kenneth R. Metcalf founded Metcalf Mortuary in 1967 after graduating from San Francisco College of Mortuary Science and working as a funeral director in Ogden and Provo. He and his wife Beverly served Southern Utah families for over 50 years, building the business on what he called "quality service with dignity." The mortuary now operates two locations — the original St. George chapel and Hurricane Valley Mortuary on Main Street in Hurricane — with five licensed funeral directors on staff.

The St. George location features an on-site crematory and occupies a historic building on St. George Boulevard. Kenneth Metcalf remained active in the community throughout his career, serving as past president of the St. George Chamber of Commerce, on banking industry boards, and as a director for the original foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center. The mortuary offers funeral webcasting for families unable to attend services in person.
