Paul and Cora Messinger opened their first funeral home in 1959 in Old Town Scottsdale on the site of the family's original dairy farm. Four generations of the Messinger family now work in the business, operating two Scottsdale locations: the Indian School Road facility at 7601 East Indian School Road and the Pinnacle Peak location at 8555 East Pinnacle Peak Road.
The Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce recognized founder Paul Messinger with the Scottsdale History Markers Award for the family's long-standing service to the area.
