Robert McCormick purchased the Orange County locations of McCormick Mortuaries in 1991 to establish McCormick & Son Mortuaries as an independent, family-owned business. A 1972 graduate of USC College of Mortuary Science, McCormick had previously served as general manager of the Orange County branch and expanded the company with his father and grandmother into one of California's largest family-owned mortuary operations.
The Laguna Beach facility includes a chapel, on-site crematory, and reception space for gatherings. McCormick & Son offers Natural Organic Reduction (terramation) services in addition to traditional burial and cremation options.
