About Mc Kinney-Neal Morturary
Moss-Stovall-Neal Funeral Home was established in 1936 by Bishop Moss and has served Elberton and Elbert County for over 85 years. The business is currently owned and operated by James A. Neal, Jr., a licensed funeral director and embalmer who joined the family in 1989 alongside Herman Prather, also a licensed embalmer and funeral director.
The funeral home operates two locations, with the Elberton facility serving families throughout Elbert County and a second location in Toccoa. Three generations of the Neal family have worked in the business, including James Neal, Sr., James Neal, Jr., Anthony Neal, and Yvette Neal Green, continuing the tradition established nearly nine decades ago. The funeral home maintains a specific commitment to honoring veterans and serving military families.
