Malcore Funeral Homes & Crematory was founded in 1921 when Charles Dunpont built the original Dunpont-Malcore Funeral Home on North Willow Street. In the late 1940s, the Malcore family built the current East location at 701 North Baird Street, which features one of the area's only oval lobbies and a distinctive stone exterior that has served as a landmark on the northeast side of Green Bay for decades.
The funeral home operates two facilities in Green Bay. The West side location is one of the largest in the city, designed to accommodate large families and gatherings. The East side facility remains the longest-running family-owned funeral home in Green Bay, offering a charming historic venue for services.
