Magnolia Funeral Home was founded in September 1999 by Coy and Deanna Gremillion, who brought decades of business experience to the funeral profession. Coy Gremillion is a graduate of the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service and became a licensed embalmer in December 2008, while Deanna Gremillion completed her funeral director internship under the supervision of A. W. "Nicky" Middleton and retired embalmer Jamie Lusk. The funeral home serves Center Point and the surrounding Avoyelles Parish communities.

In 2005, the Gremillions opened Alexandria Crematory, Central Louisiana's first crematory, which they own and operate exclusively for funeral home use. The on-site crematory allows the funeral home to handle cremation services directly rather than transferring remains to third-party facilities. The business has served families throughout Central Louisiana for over 25 years, offering both traditional burial and cremation options with an emphasis on affordable services.
