About Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City
Lux & Schnepp Funeral Homes traces its Carson City roots to the Schnepp family operation, which was acquired by Paul Lux in the 1980s and 1990s as part of a multi-location expansion across Montcalm County. The Lux family's funeral service history began in 1980 when Charles R. Lux Sr. and his son Paul purchased what is now Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home in Alma, honoring the legacy of previous owners dating back to 1937.
Over three decades, the family expanded to include funeral homes in Riverdale, Crystal, Middleton, Breckenridge, and St. Louis in addition to Carson City. In 2013, Nicholas and Laura Lux assumed ownership from their father Paul, representing the third generation of family operation across the network of Montcalm County locations.
