Lindquist Mortuaries has served northern Utah families since 1867, when Swedish immigrant Nils A. Lindquist began his work as a furniture maker and undertaker in Cache Valley. Now in its fifth generation of family ownership, Lindquist operates eight mortuaries spanning from North Ogden to Bountiful, along with three cemeteries, making it the largest funeral and cemetery provider in the region.

The family's community involvement extends beyond funeral service to include nearly 30 years of sponsoring the annual July 24th Pops Concert and Fireworks at Weber State University and contributing to the construction of Lindquist Field in Ogden, home of the Ogden Raptors. One of founder Nils Lindquist's original furniture pieces remains on display in Brigham Young's Beehive House in Salt Lake City.
