About Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary

The Lindquist family has operated funeral homes in northern Utah since 1867, when Swedish immigrant Nils A. Lindquist began making caskets and serving as town undertaker in Cache Valley. Five generations later, the family operates eight mortuaries spanning from North Ogden to Bountiful, along with three cemeteries, making them the region's largest funeral and cemetery provider.

The Bountiful location is part of a network serving Davis County and surrounding communities including Kaysville, Farmington, Layton, and Clearfield. Services include traditional burial, cremation with multiple memorial options, tribute videos, keepsakes, and live-streaming capabilities for remote family and friends. Pre-planning assistance is available through licensed funeral directors.

Beyond funeral service, the Lindquist family has sponsored Weber State University's annual 24th of July Pops Concert and Fireworks for nearly 30 years and contributed to the construction of Lindquist Field in Ogden, home of the Ogden Raptors. One of founder Nils Lindquist's handcrafted beds remains on display in Brigham Young's Beehive House in Salt Lake City.

Serving the community since 1867
