The Cuba location traces its roots to 1908 when Fred A. Loveridge operated an undertaking business in the village. His son Glen O. Loveridge joined in 1918, forming F.A. Loveridge and Son, and became sole owner in 1926. Thomas S. Nicholson later purchased the business and operated it until 1991, when Rex A. McIntosh acquired the property and partnered with E. Ray Spink until becoming sole owner in 1995. Bradley Spink purchased the funeral home in January 2008.
The facility underwent complete renovation in 1999 and 2000 to provide full handicap accessibility throughout the building. The funeral home serves families in Cuba and surrounding Allegany County communities including Friendship, Wellsville, and Olean.
The business operates a second location at 205 North Third Street in Olean, which Emmett E. Spink established in 1939 and has maintained continuous service for over 86 years. The funeral home offers tribute videos, keepsakes, and live streaming for family members unable to attend services in person.
