Lesneski Mortuary — Funeral Home in San Clemente, CA

Lesneski Mortuary has served San Clemente and South Orange County since 1928, when it first opened as Divel Funeral Chapel on a hillside along the outer edges of town. The Divel family operated the mortuary for forty years before Edward J. Lesneski Jr. and his wife Mary Helen purchased it in March 1968 and renamed it Lesneski Mortuary. The couple raised their four children at the mortuary—Edward J. Lesneski III, Laura Lesneski, Cathy Lesneski Hays, and Mark E. Lesneski—and the business remains 100% family owned and operated.

In 2023, the mortuary marked ninety-five years of continuous service to the community. The funeral home is available around the clock by phone, with office hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sunday by appointment.
