Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory has operated at the corner of Hughes Road and Madison Boulevard since April 2016, making it the first funeral home founded within Madison city limits. Owner Mark Slaton, a licensed funeral director, embalmer, and cremationist, brings nearly 30 years of experience in the Madison County funeral industry, and co-owner Miranda Cook rounds out the ownership team alongside funeral assistant Lisa Goins.
The funeral home provides traditional burial services and cremation with on-site crematory capability, along with service personalization options such as tribute videos and keepsakes. Families from Madison, Huntsville, Athens, New Hope, and surrounding Madison County communities have access to both pre-planned and at-need arrangements.
