About JP Holley Funeral Home
JP Holley Funeral Home was founded in 1917 by Katherine Weston and William Scott Holley in Gadsden, SC. The funeral home is now in its fourth generation of family ownership under President and Chief Operating Officer Johnathan P. Holley. The business relocated from its original Gadsden location and expanded throughout South Carolina, including a St. Matthews location opened in 1946 and the current parent location on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia established in 1992.
The funeral home operates an on-site crematory and offers a chapel for services. JP Holley maintains a historic mission rooted in its founders' original Burial Aid and Monument Service, which was created to help families who lacked financial means provide proper funeral services and monuments for their loved ones.
