About Jeffcoat Funeral Home
Jeffcoat Funeral Home has served Tallassee and the surrounding Elmore County area since 1969, when Joe Jeffcoat purchased the business formerly known as Mann Funeral Home. Following Mr. Jeffcoat's passing in January 2025, Jo Ann Jeffcoat—a Tallassee native with over 40 years of experience in funeral service—continues to operate the funeral home and uphold the family's longstanding commitment to the community.
The funeral home offers traditional burial services, cremation with various service options including full funeral ceremonies or private arrangements, and monument sales. Families can customize services with tribute videos, keepsakes, and live streaming capabilities for distant relatives and friends. Direct cremation packages include a cultured marble urn, and the staff provides pre-planning assistance to help families make advance arrangements.
