Huff Funeral Home was established in 1873 by Jonathan "JG" Huff and has served Yadkin County families for over 150 years. Charles "CB" Huff took over after his father's death, completing training at Reynard School of Embalming in New York City before partnering with Bob Burchette. The business remained in the Huff family through multiple generations, with Richard Huff Sr. taking control in the 1940s and expanding to three locations including Boonville and Jonesville, and Richard Huff Jr. continuing the family tradition through the 1970s.
In 2009, Cox Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain acquired the business, returning it to local ownership. Joe Clay serves as manager and funeral director. The funeral home operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to assist families in East Bend and throughout Yadkin County.
