About Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory
Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory traces its roots to the late 1800s, when Lawrence Wellington Hoover purchased a funeral establishment in Berrysburg, Upper Dauphin County. The family has operated in Hershey since 1950, when Warren R. Hoover, Jr. and his wife Myrtle opened a funeral home on West Granada Avenue, later relocating to a newer facility in 1990.
The business is now led by fourth-generation directors S. Keith Hoover, Jr. and Gregory W. Hoover, continuing a line of Hoover family ownership that has spanned more than a century. A sister location in Linglestown rounds out the family's operations in the Dauphin County area.
Serving Hershey and nearby Dauphin County communities including Annville, Elizabethtown, and Colebrook, the funeral home provides burial and cremation services, including on-site cremation.
