Homer Funeral Home has served families in Bradford County since 1861, with locations in both Dushore and Wyalusing. The funeral home's history traces back to Philip J. Tubach, who established a furniture and undertaking business in Dushore in the 1870s. His son Arthur Leo Tubach became a licensed Pennsylvania funeral director in 1912 and continued the family tradition.

After Arthur's son Cyril died during World War II, his daughter Regina Ellen Tubach graduated from Eckle's College of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia and earned her funeral director license in 1945, becoming one of the area's early female funeral directors. The Homer family has maintained both locations to serve communities throughout northern Bradford County, including Wyalusing, Athens, Towanda, Tunkhannock, and surrounding areas.
