Arthur and Jeanette Holloway founded Holloway Funeral Home in Oldsmar on March 17, 1987, fulfilling a goal Art had pursued since working as an ambulance attendant in high school. Art graduated from The School of Mortuary Science at Miami-Dade College in 1969 and gained industry experience at funeral homes in Tarpon Springs before opening his own establishment with Jeanette. After 27 years of hands-on operation, the Holloways stepped back from day-to-day management while maintaining their independent ownership.
The funeral home features an on-site chapel and offers services at the chapel or any location families choose. As an independently owned funeral home, Holloway serves families throughout Pinellas County and surrounding areas of the Tampa Bay region.
