Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory traces its roots to 1950, when Joe and Edna Gibson founded the Joseph W. Gibson Funeral Home in Mount Holly Springs. Eric Hollinger joined the firm in 1983 and later purchased the business, continuing the Gibson tradition under the Hollinger name; the funeral home is now led by Robert A. Filburn III, Owner and Supervisor.
The facility was expanded in 1967 to accommodate a growing number of families in Mount Holly Springs and the surrounding Cumberland County area, including Carlisle, Dillsburg, and Camp Hill. On-site cremation services are offered alongside traditional burial options.
Families can choose from full funeral services, memorial services, or more private cremation arrangements, with personalization options such as tribute videos, keepsakes, and live-streaming for relatives unable to attend in person.
