Michael Hodges established Hodges Family Funeral Home in 1999 in downtown Dade City. In 2004, the business expanded through the purchase of the Dade City and Zephyrhills locations, formerly known as Oakley Funeral Home, along with two cemetery properties in Dade City.
The funeral home operates the only on-site crematorium in East Pasco County. The business has remained family-owned and operated since its founding, now spanning more than 25 years of service to families throughout the region.
