About Healey Funeral Homes
John Healey opened the first Healey funeral home in South Philadelphia in 1904, with the family name later changing to Healey around 1910. John A. Healey II established the current Haddon Heights location in 1946 after purchasing a building on the White Horse Pike, and the family added the Cherry Hill Township location in 1970.
The business remains independently owned and operated by the Healey family, now in their fourth generation. Timothy J. Healey manages both locations alongside his father John A. Healey III and brother John C. Healey, all of whom are licensed funeral directors working at both the Haddon Heights and Cherry Hill Township facilities.
