Shea Family Funeral Homes has served families throughout Southern Vermont since 1884, operating four locations in Bennington, Arlington, Manchester, and Wilmington. The Bennington location, Hanson-Walbridge & Shea, is part of this multi-generational family business with over 140 years of continuous operation.
The funeral home owns and operates its own on-site crematory, ensuring that families' loved ones never leave their care throughout the cremation process. Services include traditional funerals, cremation options ranging from direct cremation to traditional funeral services with cremation to follow, memorial services, veterans honors, and preplanning programs. The facility accommodates both religious and secular services and can coordinate arrangements at outside venues including places of worship.
