What stood out about your experience?
"I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding the services provided by Hall-Ferguson-Hewitt Mortuary in June 2026 for my mother. Despite full payment and the expectation of professional coordination, the funeral procession on June 27 ended in a traumatic failure when the cemetery was found completely unprepared to receive her remains. Instead of taking responsibility for this egregious lapse in communication and planning, the mortuary disclaimed all duty, baselessly asserting that coordinating cemetery readiness was the family’s responsibility. We were never informed of this, nor should we have been; we relied on the mortuary’s professional oversight. The resulting delay and the necessity of returning my mother's remains to the funeral home caused our family immense shock and distress. There has been no apology or accountability for this breach of care, which deeply violated the dignity of our final goodbye. I cannot recommend a business that fails so fundamentally in its duty to grieving families."
Would you recommend this funeral home, and why?
The funeral deeply violated the dignity of our final goodbye. I cannot recommend a business that fails so fundamentally in its duty to grieving families.
