Greene Funeral Service was founded in 1994 by Scott and Tammy Greene, both natives of the Gaston County area. Scott grew up in Bessemer City, while Tammy is from the Chapel Grove area of Gastonia. The funeral home has grown to include two full-service locations in Gastonia.
The business operates its own on-site crematory, ensuring that families' loved ones never leave their care throughout the cremation process. Since opening, the Greene family and their staff have served thousands of families in the region.
Scott and Tammy continue to own and operate the funeral home as a family business. The funeral home offers both traditional burial services and cremation services, with options ranging from full funeral services to private memorial gatherings tailored to individual family preferences.
