Green Funeral Home was founded in 1958 by Donald Green and served Montmorency County families for 25 years before being purchased by Russell Kendrick in 1983. Russell was joined by his son Todd Kendrick in 1997 after Todd's graduation from Wayne State University College of Mortuary Science. Todd took ownership in 2017 and operated the funeral home until his passing in 2020.
The funeral home maintains locations in all three communities within Montmorency County, including Atlanta, Hillman, and Lewiston. Services include traditional funerals, cremation, pre-planning consultations, and cemetery markers and monuments. The funeral home offers live streaming for families and friends unable to attend services in person.
