About Grandstrand Funeral Home & Cremation Service
Grandstrand Funeral Home & Cremation Service was established in 1939 when Millard "Ole" Grandstrand purchased the Westberg Mortuary in Center City, Minnesota. The business expanded over the decades to include multiple locations, with John Grandstrand joining the firm in 1967 after graduating from the Milwaukee Institute of Mortuary Science, and the Saint Croix Falls area location being added through the 1984 acquisition of Paulson Geving Funeral Home in Osceola.
The funeral home has been family-owned and operated across multiple generations. Licensed funeral directors who have served the firm include Bill Lones, a University of Minnesota Department of Mortuary Science graduate, Donald White, who managed the North Branch location, and Tom Wilson, a Lindstrom native who joined in 1996.
