About Georgia Funeral Care
Georgia Funeral Care was founded in 2012 by Kevin and Gina Marcy. Kevin is a fifth-generation funeral director whose family's heritage in funeral service dates back to 1868 with his great-great-grandfather. The funeral home operates an on-site crematory and offers green burial packages in addition to traditional funeral and cremation services.
The Marcy family includes son Reed, a Paulding County firefighter who works in funeral home operations, and his wife Fabiola, who serves as office manager. The family also owns and operates The Cowan Historic Mill, an event facility available for receptions following services. The funeral home maintains Providence Cemetery & Cremation Gardens and offers specialized veteran packages starting at $1,495 for cremation.
