About Funeral Homes & Cremation Services
Valley Memorial Park and Funeral Home has served families in Hillsboro since 1958 from its location on the historic Carothers family farm. The facility features a serene 40-acre setting with 14 memorial gardens, a six-acre lake, a mausoleum, and private gathering spaces.
Valley Memorial is Oregon's first Green Burial Cemetery certified by the Green Burial Council. In addition to green burial, the funeral home offers aquamation (water cremation) and human composting as alternative disposition methods. Services include funeral and memorial services, cremation, pre-planning programs, veteran honors, celebration of life events, and livestreaming capabilities.
The facility provides aftercare and grief support, identification and private viewings, funeral video production, and memorial programs. Families can also arrange for custom headstones, cremation urns, remembrance jewelry, and keepsakes. Multicultural funeral services are available to serve diverse community needs.
