Finch Funeral Chapel — Funeral Home in Runge, TX

The Finch family has provided funeral service since 1951, when Barney Finch founded a burial insurance company in Cuero. In 1961, Barney and his son Don purchased half interest in a funeral home in Nixon, marking the family's entry into funeral operations. Don eventually became sole owner, and his son Troy Finch joined the staff in 1989 after graduating from Texas State University and becoming a licensed mortician.

Troy's wife Janet is also a licensed funeral director. Troy acquired the Runge location in 1999 as part of the family's expansion to serve multiple South Texas communities. The Finch organization now operates chapels in Nixon, La Vernia, Stockdale, and Runge, offering families in Karnes County and surrounding areas access to three generations of family funeral experience.
