Three generations of the Ferry family have operated the business, with current owner David Ferry joining in 1983 alongside his brother-in-law Jeff Benbrook. The funeral home is staffed by licensed professionals with over 120 years of combined experience.
The firm has occupied three locations in Nevada over its history, moving to its current facility at 301 South Washington in 1964. A complete remodel in 2000 added a chapel with seating for 250 and a family overflow area for 40, along with a modern arrangement room and selection room.
Ferry Funeral Home offers traditional and non-traditional services, graveside services, memorial services, veterans military honors, fraternal organization services, and various cremation options. The staff provides pre-arrangement consultations and honors transferred pre-arrangements from other areas. The funeral home serves all faiths throughout Vernon County and arranges clergy when needed.
