Evans-Skipper Funeral Home — Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was established in 1938 as Evans Funeral Home by R.I. Evans, Sr., who operated the business with his son R.I. Evans, Jr. for four decades. The Evans family also provided ambulance service for Seminole County during those years. In 1979, Garland Skipper purchased the business after 18 years of association with the funeral home, renaming it Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

The current facility opened in 1993 on Highway 39 South in Donalsonville, built on property that once housed one of the town's oldest homes from the 1920s. Following Garland Skipper's passing in 1999, the business remains family-owned and is now operated by his daughter Susan Braswell and grandsons Josh and Dean Burke.

The funeral home offers both traditional burial and cremation services, with options ranging from full funeral services to private ceremonies. Families can incorporate tribute videos, keepsakes, and live streaming for distant relatives and friends.
