About David Russell Funeral Home and Cremation
Scott Norris has operated David Russell Funeral Home and Cremation since 2015, when he acquired the business following the death of founder Russell Moline. A licensed funeral director and mortician with 28 years of experience, Norris previously managed other funeral providers in the Lakeland area before taking ownership.
The funeral home emphasizes affordability, guaranteeing charges 10% to 60% lower than other area providers. Rather than offering pre-set funeral packages, the business works with families to create individualized services tailored to specific wishes and budgets. This flexibility is designed to make traditional funeral rites accessible to families dealing with sudden deaths, accidental losses, or significant medical expenses.
David Russell Funeral Home offers both burial and cremation services, maintains a selection of caskets, vaults, and urns, and provides cremation jewelry for families who wish to memorialize their loved ones. The business serves families throughout Polk County, including Lakeland, Bartow, Auburndale, and Winter Haven.
