About Danjolell Memorial Homes and Crematory
D'Anjolell Memorial Homes & Crematory opened its first facility in 1963 in the Overbrook section of West Philadelphia and has since expanded to serve Delaware County including Aston and surrounding areas. The funeral home owns and operates its own on-site crematory, one of the few in the region to do so, allowing direct oversight of cremation services.
The family-owned firm received recognition as Best Funeral Home in Delaware County's 2007 Reader's Picks and has earned Pursuit of Excellence Bronze Eagle Awards. Staff members hold affiliations with the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, American Cremation Society, Christian Cremation Society, and Veterans Cremation Society. The funeral home serves families of all faiths and offers church viewings, memorial and graveside services, and on-site selection rooms for memorialization options.
Additional services include assistance with nursing home arrangements, cemetery lot selection and purchase, bereavement counseling, and catered receptions that can be held before or after services. Pre-planning programs are available for families who wish to arrange services in advance.
