Croley Funeral Home in Diana originated as Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home, which served the community for over 60 years before joining the Croley family of funeral homes. The original Loyd-Fike Funeral Home was established in downtown Gilmer, later relocating to Highway 271 and operating as Loyd Funeral Home before becoming Grubbs-Loyd. In 1999, the Diana location opened to serve the eastern portion of Upshur County and surrounding areas including Camp, Wood, Marion, Cass, Gregg, and Smith counties.
The Diana funeral home is part of the Croley organization, which dates back to 1883 when J.F. Croley established the original funeral home. Additional Croley locations serve families in Gilmer, Gladewater, and Hawkins, with the Gilmer chapel featuring a seating capacity of 200.
