About Crippen Mortuary
Crippen Mortuary was founded by William and Ethel Crippen in 1928 and has operated continuously at its La Crescenta location for over 97 years. The business remains independently owned and operated by the Crippen family, serving communities throughout Southern California including Glendale and the surrounding area.
The mortuary operates two locations, with the original facility in La Crescenta and a second in Canyon Country. Both locations maintain 24-hour emergency availability, and arrangement counselors are available by phone Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for families who prefer to make arrangements remotely.
