Clock Funeral Home & Cremation Services was founded in 1897 when 23-year-old Tiede Clock started an undertaking business with $125 out of the back of his family's art supply store on Jefferson Street. In 1920, the Clock family built a dedicated funeral home at the corner of Sanford Street and Grand Avenue, where the business still operates today, now serving families for over 125 years.
Tiede Clock served as Muskegon's first coroner for 21 years, and his two sons Theodore G. and Thomas C. joined the business after graduating from mortuary school, continuing the family tradition. The funeral home serves Muskegon, Muskegon Heights, and surrounding communities.
