About Ciechanowski Funeral Home
Ciechanowski Funeral Home has operated in Oaklyn since 1921 and remains family owned and operated into its third generation. John Ciechanowski, licensed in mortuary science since 1989, manages the funeral home following his father Daniel and grandfather before him; Daniel, a WWII Merchant Marine veteran and 23-year US Naval Reserve member, built the firm's longstanding ties to Camden's Polish-American community.
The funeral home offers veteran services to guide families through benefits available to those who served, along with memorial video options and traditional visitation and funeral services. John remains active with St. Joseph's Church, the Polish American Citizens Club of Camden County, and the National Funeral Directors Association.
Families from Oaklyn, Audubon, Mt. Ephraim, and other Camden County communities continue to turn to the Ciechanowski family for funeral arrangements regardless of religion or background.
