About Choice Funeral Home
Choice Funeral Home opened in Shreveport in 2025 under licensed funeral director Alexander F. Elie, who has worked in the funeral profession for more than twenty years. He founded the business with his partner, Attorney Ruby A. Lewis, bringing both funeral service experience and legal background to the operation.
The funeral home offers traditional burial with embalming, visitation, funeral service, and graveside committal, along with direct cremation, cremation with memorial service, and cremation following a traditional funeral. Pre-planning consultations are available for families who want to arrange services in advance.
Serving Shreveport and surrounding Caddo Parish communities including Bossier City and Haughton, Choice Funeral Home gives families in the Baton Rouge region an additional option for burial and cremation arrangements.
