About Cease Family Funeral Home

Kevin Cease represents the third generation of funeral directors working with Cease Family Funeral Homes since 1984. Kelly Cease Bowman, who graduated from the University of Minnesota Department of Mortuary Science in 1992, became a part owner in 1995 alongside her father Wayne Cease and three of her brothers. Kelly's daughter Kara graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science in 2022 and now works in the family business.

The funeral home serves Bagley and the surrounding Clearwater County area. Both Kevin and Kelly have been active in community organizations over the years, with Kevin also involved in theater and film projects and Kelly being a 1986 Bagley High School graduate who returned home after working at Morris Nilson Funeral Home in Richfield.
