About Carr Funeral Home
Carr Funeral Home has been serving Marshall County for over 50 years. The funeral home operates under Gamble Holding Company management, with Gene East as area manager overseeing locations in Guntersville, Grant, and Scottsboro. East brings more than 30 years of experience as a funeral director and embalmer, plus 20-plus years managing funeral homes and cemeteries, and is a graduate of Jefferson State's mortuary science program.
Manager Kim Haston is a licensed funeral director, cremationist, and pre-need counselor who joined the staff in 2015 after graduating from Jefferson State with a degree in funeral service education. The funeral home provides veteran services, handling all details to secure entitled benefits for those who served. Gene East is actively involved in the Guntersville community through the Civitan Club and serves as president of Arab Youth Football League.
