About Brooks Funeral Home
Brooks Funeral Home represents five generations of the Brooks family serving Mount Pleasant and the Fayette-Westmoreland County area. David S. Brooks, the fifth-generation owner and licensed funeral director, operates locations in both Mount Pleasant and Connellsville. His son Stephen D. Brooks continues the family tradition as the sixth generation, serving as supervisor of the Mount Pleasant location after graduating from Penn State University and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.
The funeral home's staff includes multiple licensed funeral directors and clerical support led by Amy Brooks Hertznell, who manages daily operations. The Brooks family maintains deep roots in Mount Pleasant through active involvement in church and youth sports organizations.
